Your Most Important Questions, Answered
Launching a Property Management division is a major strategic step — and smart leaders ask smart questions. This FAQ section was designed to give you clear, direct answers about how QCI Power–PM works, what you receive, and why our system creates immediate value for independent brokerages and MEGA Teams.
Whether you’re evaluating the model, comparing options, or preparing to launch, you’ll find everything you need to make a confident, informed decision.
What exactly does “Powered by QCI” mean?
Powered by QCI” means your brokerage or MEGA Team operates a fully branded property management division—under your name, with your reputation, and your pricing—while QCI installs, powers, and supports the operational infrastructure behind the scenes. You retain full ownership of your clients, your systems, and your revenue. QCI simply provides the engine.
What level of involvement does our brokerage need to provide?
Very minimal. You provide:
A Designated Property Manager
Your branding assets
Access to your team for cross-selling alignment
QCI handles all back-end systems, training, marketing setup, call center coordination, and workflow implementation. Your DPM handles the day-to-day operations using systems we installed and trained them on.
What happens if we end our agreement with QCI?
Nothing breaks. Nothing stops.
Upon termination or non-renewal, you retain:
Your DoorLoop account
Your Call Center account
Your website and marketing systems
All workflows, templates, and operational structures
Your PM division continues seamlessly—just without QCI’s ongoing support.
How does QCI help us attract new investor clients?
We deploy a complete 12-month marketing strategy tailored to your market, including:
Google Ads
Social content
Investor reactivation campaigns
Cross-selling scripts for your agents
Landing pages
Retargeting ads
Automated investor funnels
This creates a constant pipeline of owner leads while positioning your brokerage as a full-service investment partner.
What qualifications does the Designated Property Manager need?
We’ve built the system so that the DPM does not need to be a seasoned property manager.
Your DPM receives:
Onboarding
DoorLoop training
Communication protocol training
Marketing integration support
SOPs, checklists, and workflows
With QCI oversight and a unified communication ecosystem, even a motivated team member with no PM background can perform effectively.
How do I know QCI Power–PM won’t also partner with a competitor in my market?
When we partner with a brokerage or MEGA Team, we treat that relationship as a strategic alliance — not a vendor agreement. To protect your brand and your investment, we guarantee territory exclusivity within your market.
That means we will not offer Power–PM to another brokerage, team, or QCI franchise within a standard 30-mile radius of your PM division’s location.
How fast can we launch our property management division?
Our system is designed for full deployment in just two weeks. This includes: DPM onboarding
System setup (DoorLoop, CMS, Call Center)
Unified communication installation
Mock tickets, test messages, and sample workflows
Marketing launch alignment
You go from “idea” to “live PM division” in 14 days—without disrupting your current operation.
Does QCI take a percentage of our revenue?
No.
Unlike franchise models or revenue-share arrangements, QCI never touches your revenue.
You keep 100% of all management fees, leasing fees, admin fees, renewal fees, and maintenance income.
QCI charges a flat implementation fee and a flat monthly service fee after the first year.
How does the Call Center and Unified Communications Ecosystem work?
Your toll-free number routes to QCI’s call center, which acts as your front line:
Calls are received under your brand
Routine items are handled via CMS workflows
Urgent matters are forwarded to the DPM
After-hours escalation rules are followed precisely
This reduces workload, eliminates missed calls, and gives your team a professional, scalable communication hub from day one.
What support does QCI provide after launch?
You receive:
Monthly performance reviews
Live support
Help desk access
Workflow optimization
Marketing Implementation & adjustments
System updates
DPM coaching when needed
This ensures your division remains stable, compliant, and scalable.
Why not build this ourselves or hire a consultant?
Because it would take years, cost far more, and require expertise across multiple disciplines (software, communications, marketing, compliance, workflows, cross-selling, call center integration, etc.).
QCI delivers a fully built, integrated, proven system in two weeks, with continuing support—at a cost far below what you’d spend independently.
What kind of revenue potential can a PM division create for our brokerage?
A branded PM division generates recurring monthly revenue, typically earned as 7%–12% of rental income per managed property, with additional income commonly produced through leasing fees, renewals, and service-based charges.
For investor-focused brokerages, PM turns each client from a single transaction into a long-term revenue relationship.
